Dr. Rabia has over 20 years of experience as an OBGYN and infertility specialist. She has 10 years’ experience in U.K and most recently was working in the National Health Service (NHS) as a consultant. During her practice in the U.K, she trained in the field of infertility at the internationally renowned Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital, London, which conducts over 3,000 IVF/ICSI procedures each year and is also recognized as the largest PGD facility in the U.K. As an infertility specialist she was a visiting consultant at CARE Fertility Northampton and IVF London, which are considered the top Fertility Centre’s in the U.K. She left her lucrative career in the U.K and returned to Pakistan in 2021 to serve her country and contribute in the field of reproductive medicine.
She is an excellent advocate and counsellor and is passionate about infertility treatment. She is an expert in cases with recurrent IVF failures and miscarriages and is skillful in laparoscopic and gynecological surgery.
She is a Member of Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynecologist (MRCOG) (U.K) and IRC-RCOG (Pakistan). She completed her Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in 2009 and is also a Member of College of Physicians and Surgeons (MCPS) Pakistan.
Before moving to U.K she completed her MBBS from The Punjab University in 2003. She went on to complete her post-graduate training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Jinnah Hospital/Allama Iqbal Medical College, where she also served as a Senior Registrar.
She is known in academic circles for her contribution to teaching and training, and currently serving as a consultant and teaching faculty member at the Shalamar Medical and Dental College. She is an author of a book for MRCOG and has published her work in international medical journals.
